Air Shipping

When shipping a puppy, we make all the travel arrangements.

The puppies are shipped in an airline-approved crate. The crate must to be big enough that when the puppy stands up with his head up and ears erect they are not allowed to touch the top of the crate and the puppy must be able to turn around in the crate.

The puppies travel in the cargo area, however, it is pressurized and at the same temperature and has the same air filtered in as the passengers breathe. Having shipped puppies for many years, we have never had any negative experiences. We are always very pleased with the condition of the puppies and the attention they received while in the care of the airlines.

Most families report that the puppy was made available to them between 15 to 30 minutes from the time the plane arrived. When your puppy arrives, he may be picked up in the cargo pickup area. The airlines usually require some form of identification before they will release the puppy to the new owner. After you pick up your puppy and have returned home, we would ask that you email us to let us know how the puppy is doing.

All puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old to fly.

It must be at least 20 degrees above (F) but not hotter than 80 degrees at any point in their trip to their new home.

We make all the shipping arrangements. We search for the shortest available flight. We will have a professional shipper scheduling the flight and they will text the flight arrival information (airline, day of shipment, flight number, air bill number and time and location of arrival) as soon as they have been confirmed to them by the airline.

Included with shipment of each puppy is its certified health certificate, vaccination and worming record,  small bag of food, microchip information and AKC registration application for the puppy (if purebred).

Be sure to keep in mind that your puppy is a live animal and will need to use the bathroom. We and the airlines will do all we can to get the puppy to you as clean and comfortable as we can.

Ground Shipping

We also offer ground shipping through professional pet transport companies.

Depending on your location your puppy may be traveling for several days and can be more stressful than air travel.

Puppies are traveling in climate controlled vehicles in a crate with perforated flooring.

When we arrange the final time that the puppy arrives at your location we will give you a window of day and time. The shipper will contact you several hours before planned meeting time with final time and location. Be prepared to meet at another location than what was planned or originally.

It is a good idea to be available all day of the planned meeting day since routes can change unexpectedly due to more puppies added to the route, cancelations or traffic issues.

Included with shipment of each puppy is its certified health certificate, vaccination and worming record,  small bag of food, microchip information and AKC registration application for the puppy (if purebred).
