My husband and I got a Mini Poodle puppy a few months ago. She was very healthy but the behavioral problems are hard. She is very timid and scared of everything, especially men. I can only assume she was mostly raised by woman and children. She was almost 10 weeks when we got her and her food aggression is a product of the way she was being fed by the breeder. I thought getting a poodle from a Amish breeder was a good choice but after having her and now having to hire a trainer to help with her food aggression and dominance issues is not something I would have anticipated. Her fear of everything is very sad to watch. She is getting better but I would think twice about getting a puppy that has been raised the way this breeder is raising them.
Messae from breeder: We are sorry that you are dealing with these issues. We do our best to have puppies well socialized and well cared for.
