Great puppy!

Freya has been with us a month now. We are delighted with her personality, her eagerness to learn and please. Her vet check come back clean and she is a happy puppy who started sleeping through the night at the two week mark! She is becoming friends, or at least patiently tolerated by our 10 yr old goldendoodle. So we are all happy! We would definitely recommend this breeder To friends and family. Thx Leroy.

We picked up Marlo a few weeks ago at 11 weeks old. She is such a sweet girl. We have a four-year-old grandson who adores her; she has not nipped or jumped on him! She sits, lies, spins and shakes hands already! We are really enjoying the joy she is bringing to our empty nest, training her, cuddling with her and introducing her to family and friends. Leroy was amazing to work with and made all the travel arrangements. Lydia AKA Cecelia flew from Ohio to Florida without any problems at all. The trip was seamless and Lydia was calm cool and collected when I picked her up at the airport. She was the most beautiful peaceful puppy I have ever seen. Best Goldendoodle!

Leroy, I’ve wanted to contact you for a long time but just keep forgetting to do it. Our puppy that we bought from you back in March is WONDERFUL!!!
The first few months were challenging as we hadn’t dealt with a puppy in 14 years but once we got him trained at about 5 months he’s a different dog. He’s a beautiful GoldenDoodle and so many people compliment his good looks. He’s great with our 9 grandkids and has been a delight most of the time. He still of course has a lot of puppy behavior but is responding to the training commands. Just wanted you to know !!

We love our fur baby Phoebe (originally known as Dewy). Leroy and his family were truly amazing when we went and picked her up and the whole process leading up to it. We would recommend them to anyone. We would love to get more puppies from them in the future:))

Sweet boy (Mateo) made it safely and was even more perfect than I had imagined. He was immediately so friendly and warmed up like he has been here since day one. I’m very impressed with how laid back he is and what a great personality he has. I appreciate the organization of the paperwork and how easy and uncomplicated it was as well. he most amazing pup!

My husband, Curtis, was searching for a wedding present for me when he came across Gold Star Family Poodles online. He immediately reached out and had been in contact with Leroy in regards to Peaches. Leroy was so awesome and answered any questions my husband had. My husband explained how easy the process was the entire time. We got back from our honeymoon and picked up peaches the next day from LAX Delta Cargo. She came with her crate, some food and all of her documentation we needed. Peaches, who is now named Harlie, is the absolute best dog in the world. She is sooo loving and just the cutest pup. Not to mention she’s a momma’s girl so that just completely melts my heart even more. She is hands down the best present ever! Makes it even more special she was my wedding gift from my husband and I found out about her the morning of our wedding. So adorable!! We love her so much and can’t thank Leroy enough for all his help. We recommend Gold Star Family Poodles to anyone who asks!

Best pup we’ve ever owned – Golden Doodle

Mick turned one in January. He has developed into the best natured and smartest dog that we’ve ever owned.
He trained easily and is so willing to please. As a pup still very playful and lots of energy . He is so gentle with other dogs and socialized easily. He’s good with children and all our grandchildren love him. We were very happy with Leroys facility and his willingness to answer all my questions.

For years I’d been looking at getting a poodle. What’s not to love about intelligence, elegance, beauty and versatility in a dog? Poodles quite literally have it all! I was never in a position where taking on a pup was right at the time for me until this past winter. I was just browsing through and looking for breeders and ran across Gold Star Family Poodles. My heart was looking for a black/Silver but the upcoming litter was going to be Reds/Apricots. I decided that I was going to put a deposit down and go from there. LeRoy was exceptional at answering all of my questions, no matter how annoying I am sure I’d become! lol I let him know what my plans were for my future pup and he told me which pup he felt would be the best fit, my only requirement was that it be a male. Mateo was suggested to me and so Mateo became my dog, he was transported to me here in KY the following week after they were ready to leave their home and the process couldn’t have been easier. The transport company was absolutely fantastic as well and I had a clean, happy and excited puppy in my arms. That was in January, now it’s October 1st and Mateo has become Disco, weighs around 53 pounds and is sporting a beautiful show groom with his GORGEOUS red coat! This dog has been hands down the most intelligent dog I’ve ever been seen. He’s been a breeze to train and the list of commands he knows blows my mind, he picks up on everything so quickly within a few repetitions actually! He seems to understand everything I say to him and those eyes really show just how incredibly brilliant he is. I could go on and on about this dog but we’d be here all day! Everywhere we go people fall in love with his personality and constantly boast on how beautiful he is, his groomer has tried so many looks with him and currently we’re doing more of a show cost with a bit of a modified continental clip mixed with a Georgette cut! He’s going to be able to do his first dock diving event since he’ll be one soon so that’s going to be so fun to watch! He’s also been training as my psychiatric service dog since a week after he arrived home, around 11 weeks old and so far he’s doing exceedingly well at those tasks and I hope to have him fully ready in another 6-8 months! If you’re on the fence, just go for it! LeRoy will match you with the best pup and these dogs are incredible! Just be aware of the intensive 4/6 week grooming schedule that’s required to maintain a mat free, healthy coat! Disco truly has made my life so much better, I can not thank this family enough for giving me my best friend and my lifeline.

We couldn’t be happier with our sweet Willow (previously Precious)! She is absolutely perfect! We live in Texas so shipping her to us was a must! The process was simple and seamless. She was def happy and well taken care of! She has an amazing temperament! Gold Star Family Poodles was fast and informative for any and all questions we had! We would absolutely purchase from them again! Trust me, just DO IT!!!! You won’t regret it!

Best decision EVER

We are expecting a baby in a couple months and wanted puppies for our daughter to play with when our baby is born. We wanted a smart breed that is hypoallergenic with a good attitude. We originally got one poodle but had to go back for his brother so they can play together and have puppy company. It was a great decision to get two because they burn all their energy playing. They were potty trained in a couple weeks and had very few accidents. The dogs are very healthy and we are very happy with them, their puppy breath and their gentle licks on the face. I can tell these dogs come from a great line holding their head high with perfect posture and are the most cuddly dogs I have seen.

Barnaby is an amazing dog! Such a cuddler and so sweet, he’s a quick learner and I couldn’t ask for anything more! Leroy was very informative and takes really good care if his puppies!

Francis is so trainable ! And absolutely loves kids and that was evident from the get go. I highly recommend Gold Star family poodles! Whatever they do to get the poodle to love kids so much is working keep it up ! He loves to play pool but mis cues a lot !(easiest 5 bucks I’ve ever made )lol 1 1/2 years old.

Arlo, now Tater AKA Chippy is the best boy I could have ever asked for. He sure gives me a run for my money with his personality and big energy. He’s not so sure that he’s 70lbs and is about to be 1 year old. Getting him was the best decision I ever made.

We have named the puppy Cooper and he is doing great. We just love him and he is getting along with our other 2 dogs.
